Can I apply from outside the EU or UK?
Merchant eligibility based on business location
CardCorp's merchant services include:
- Merchant accounts with partner acquirers
- Payment gateway integrated with many acquirers
- Billing platform with BillPro with our payment gateway or Stripe
Our partner acquirers are licensed in the EU, UK, and EEA. To use their services, your business must be registered and physically located in Europe. To satisfy this requirement, you may be asked to demonstrate that your operating headquarters are located in the region. And that you are registered with the local tax and VAT schemes. Your managing director and authorised signatory must also be resident in the EEA.
Our payment gateway and billing platform are technical services outside the scope of licensed activity. They are integrated with many other acquirers around the world. However, to obtain the full benefits, you must use them with an acquirer's licensed services to provide you with a connected merchant account.
